SUMMARY:NWR SCCA - Intermediate School
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for an Intermediate Driving School! \nThis school is intended for drivers that have been autocrossing a minimum of 3 years preferably 5 years and are looking for more advanced help. If you’ve been at this sport for awhile and are looking to make further steps forward\, this school is for you.  \nThe school will be broken into two parts.\nThe first part will be a classroom session where we discuss course fundamentals\, performance driving\, tires/car setup\, and data acquisition. It is preferred that all students attend this in person\, this part will be in the evening Thursday May 14th at The Shop in Seattle. We plan to also offer virtually via Zoom\, but in person attendance provides more value.  \nThe second part will be held on Saturday\, May 16th at Bremerton Motorsports Park.  This will include various elements including slaloms\, figure 8s\, and a full course for the afternoon portion.  We are limiting the number of students to 20.  The purpose for the limit is to make sure that each student receives specialized instruction tailored to their needs.  You’ll also have two different instructors throughout the day to get different inputs and styles of instruction.  We’ll have some of the top drivers from Northwest Region and Oregon Region as instructors! \nLunch is TBD\, but will be provided.   \nThis will be a full day at BMP. \nAs with normal autocross\, you will be working when you’re not running/being instructed.   \nAt the completion of the event\, we’ll do some kind of social\, and all are welcome to join for that as well. \nRegistration on scorekeeper\nCost: $150

DESCRIPTION:If you are looking to experience the best sites\, the best courses and the best competition – either in preparation for Solo Nationals or to see where you stand against the best – The Tire Rack® SCCA Solo® National Tour is for you. \nEach National Tour event is run in a similar format to the season-ending National Championships in Lincoln Nebraska. National Tour events prepare drivers for their National Championship and typically offer tougher competition than Regional autocross events. \nThese events average more than 275 drivers at each of the various locations across the country with most of the competitors coming from nearby states. These drivers come together to get a taste of the “Nationals” experience of competition and camaraderie. \nNational Tour competition takes place over two days with a different course each day\, just like Solo Nationals. Drivers get three runs on each course with their best time from each added together for the final class standings. Runs are timed to 1/1000th of a second and knocking a cone down means a penalty of 2 seconds added to that time. SUMMARY:Tire Rack SCCA Packwood ProSolo
DESCRIPTION:Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo® Series\n“America’s Premier Autocross Championship Series” \nThe Tire Rack SCCA® ProSolo® Series is an adrenaline-pumping autocross format where solo isn’t solo. Drivers still run a course by themselves\, but start off side-by-side drag racing style and attack mirror-image courses to see who gets back to their respective finish lines first. \nIn contrast to a standard 3-run autocross\, ProSolo class competition takes 1.5 days where each driver gets three sets of runs to put together the best run from each side. Class winners are determined from putting the best right and left side runs together. \nAfter class competition\, it’s time for single-elimination challenge rounds. The first is a bragging-rights Bonus Challenge drawn at random\, a Ladies Challenge for the top-performing ladies class drivers\, and the big one – the Super Challenge\, which pits the top 32 drivers from regular competition into a solo bracket madness where coming out on top is simple: string together 12 winning runs in a row while avoiding red-lighting\, hitting cones and glory-robbing mistakes. \nWhere other top-level SCCA Championships like the TireRack Solo Nationals® and The Runoffs® are single-event winner take all competitions\, in SCCA ProSolo competitors earn Challenge points throughout the season toward the Overall Ladies and Open ProSolo Championships. SUMMARY:NWR SCCA Autocross Event #10 & PM Test n' Tune
DESCRIPTION:Preregistration on scorekeeper will open 30 days before the event.\n\n  \nAM Event with PM Test n’ Tune\n\nParticipants will be in one of two run groups (first run group or second run group) during both the AM and PM session\, with each group getting a minimum of 4 runs. Just like with national level events and other clubs\, when one run group is running\, the other is working the course.\n\n  \nAM Competition Class Schedule7:00 – Site opens7:30-8:30 – Registration\, work assignment and tech inspection open8:30 – Guided course walk (meet at start line)8:45 – Course closed for walking9:00 – Driver’s meeting\n\n  \nPM Test n’ Tune Schedule12:00 – 12:30 – Registration\, work assignments and tech inspection open for NEW entrants1:00 – Driver’s Meeting\n\n  \nPricing\n$55 for first entry (AM or PM)\n$35 for second entry\n$20 weekend membership required for non-members\n$10 on-site registration fee if you do not preregister on scorekeeper\, however prepayment is optional.\n\n  \nWe now also accept cards as payment option on-site!
