Welcome to the 2009 SCHOOL SPECIFICS Date: Saturday April 4th; arrive by 7:30am so all students can be checked in and ready by 8am. School ends around 5pm. Location:
(directions at http://www.wwscc.org/locations/bremerton.html) Cost: $55 PREPAID ONLY (includes entry into 4/5 NWR/SCCA Event #1); your confirmation email from James will include instructions where to send checks. Unfortunately, we do not have a method to accept online payments. Registration: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PRE-REGISTER BY EMAIL! You must have received a registration confirmation email from James to participate in this school. No walk-ups will be permitted. Have you attended a · Are you planning on attending the Sunday event that is included in the cost of the school? If yes, please specify if you will register in the Novice AM or Novice PM class (if you have autocrossed in 3 or fewer events before), Street Tire class (will compete in the morning session) or Time Only AM or Time Only PM (no trophies for time only entrants). Upon receipt of your confirmation email for the novice school, you are encouraged to preregister for Event #1. James will ensure your entry fee is acknowledged. · Are you a current SCCA member? If so, include your membership number, and $5 will be deducted from your invoice. Email to: james.wege+novice@gmail.com Please allow a few days for response. Here are a few other items to note: · We are capping this school at 50 students; James will place others on a waiting list · Be sure to arrive early enough so that we can start the event on time. · Please have all “extras” removed from your car so you are as race-ready as possible (floor mats, loose items in car and trunk, etc). · Gas is not available near the course, so make sure you have few gallons in your tank when you arrive. · You might want to bring a folding chair (and an umbrella—we are in the NW!) for the ground school portion. · Snacks and water are a good idea, too. Lunch will be provided, but no other food or drinks will be available. · Students who took last year’s novice school may be put on a waiting list so as to encourage as many new autocross enthusiasts as possible. Minor drivers, passengers, course workers (and any other minor) whose official capacity requires him/her to enter a "hot" area, MUST have a waiver on file that is signed by BOTH parents/legal guardians.
